ConnectED Evaluation

The Connected project aims to provide support to small and medium sized businesses in the West Midlands area in their use of information and communication technologies. The project is jointly funded by Birmingham City Council, The European Regional Development Fund and The University of Central England. Connected provides support to small and medium sized enterprises through the provision of:

  • Hands on skill based ICT training workshops
  • Tailored one-to-one consultancy concerning ICT issues
  • Publication of the "connected" Newsletter

CIRT is evaluating the success and impact of the Connected project. Evaluation activities include:

Evaluation of partnership working and project management
Evaluation of feedback from workshops
Evaluation of the long term impact of training provided
Evaluation of the effectiveness of consultancy work, through a series of case studies
