Analysing usage of publisher deals

This new project run by evidence base in association with SCONUL’s Working Group on Performance Improvement will help higher education libraries analyse their usage of some of the main publisher deals for electronic journals. Fifteen libraries are taking part this year and will be using templates and guidelines from the project team to analyse use in relation to cost and other factors in order to demonstrate value for money and usage patterns. The project will also provide opportunities for bench-marking among member libraries and will assist libraries with the preparation of e-journal statistics for the SCONUL annual return.
