Measuring Up: Analysing Publisher Deals 2

Following a successful first round of the project a second round has been initiated. This project is endorsed by the SCONUL Working Group on Performance Improvement and aims to help higher education libraries analyse their usage of some of the main publisher deals for electronic journals.

Libraries taking part in the project use templates and guidelines produced by the project team to analyse use of up to six publisher deals in relation to cost and other factors in order to demonstrate value for money and usage patterns. The project also provides opportunities for bench-marking among member libraries and assists libraries with the preparation of e-journal statistics for the SCONUL annual return.
